Dr. Ryan graduated from Ross University, St. Kitts, West Indies in 1995 with honors. Having been a veterinary technician for many years prior to entering veterinary school, Dr. Ryan had the advantage of already knowing she wanted to specialize in feline medicine after graduation. Her first position after graduation brought her to St. Simons Island to practice in a traditional small animal hospital for 3 years. Opening Coastal Cat Clinic in 1999 had been a life long dream come true for Dr. Ryan. Dr. Ryan is a current member of American Assoc. of Feline Practitioners, American Veterinary Medical Assoc., Georgia Veterinary Medical Association and Cornell Feline Health Center. Dr. Ryan and her husband share their home with 9 cats, 1 dog and 2 parrots. When asked about what she does in her free time, she says she enjoys sleeping.
Chrissie has been with us since 2004. Her duties include management of the boarding suites and assisting with office and medical procedures. Chrissie and her daughter, Sara, live with 3 cats, various other small mammals and 1 turtle. When she is not working she enjoys horseback riding and being outdoors.
Bev is our resident “Northerner” complete with her New Hampshire accent. Bev has been with CCC since 2002. Although she was a newcomer to the veterinary profession and the cat world when she started with us, she quickly discovered her natural calling. Bev lives with her menagerie of cats.
