Dr.. Ryan graduated from Ross University, St. Kitts, West Indies in 1995 with honors. Having been a veterinary technician for many years prior to entering veterinary school, Dr Ryan had the advantage of already knowing she wanted to specialize in feline medicine after graduation. Her first position after graduation brought her to St Simons Island to practice in a traditional small animal hospital for 3 years. Opening Coastal Cat Clinic in 1999 had been a life long dream come true for Dr Ryan. Dr Ryan is a current member of American Assoc. of Feline Practitioners, American Veterinary Medical Assoc., Georgia Veterinary Medical Association and Cornell Feline Health Center. Dr. Ryan and her husband share their home with 7 cats, 1 dog and 2 parrots. When asked about what she does in her free time, she says she enjoys sleeping.
